FAQ
Frequently asked questions about BizKard
BizKard is a digital business card you share by QR code, NFC tap or link, paired with an AI agent that scans the paper cards you receive, enriches each contact, drafts follow-ups and keeps your pipeline and CRM up to date. The answers below cover sharing, scanning, the agent, pricing, privacy and data export.
What is a digital business card?
A digital business card is a web page that holds your contact details and can be shared instantly by QR code, NFC tap or link. Unlike a paper card, it can be updated after it has been shared, saved straight into a phone contact list, and it never has to be reprinted.
How do I share my BizKard?
Every card has a public link at bizkard.me/your-slug. You can show its QR code on your phone, write it to an NFC tag and let people tap, add it to a wallet pass, or paste the link into a message or email signature.
Does BizKard work without an app?
Yes. Your card opens in any mobile browser, and the person receiving it does not need an account or an app to view it or save your details as a contact.
Can BizKard scan paper business cards?
Yes. Photograph a card and vision OCR extracts the name, role, company, email, phone and social links, reconciles the front and back into one record, and flags duplicates before saving. You can also bulk import a folder of photos or a ZIP from an event.
What does the AI agent actually do?
It enriches each new contact with company and role data, drafts the first follow-up email in your voice, tracks who has gone quiet, suggests who to chase next, and updates pipeline stages with an audit trail. It only acts inside the permissions you already have.
Can I use BizKard from Claude or ChatGPT?
Yes. BizKard exposes an MCP endpoint, so assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor can list cards and leads, search contacts, set pipeline stages and draft follow-ups. Access uses OAuth 2.1, can be revoked at any time, and every call is audited.
Which CRMs does BizKard sync with?
HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive. Contacts and stage changes sync automatically, and anything captured offline is synced once you are back online.
Is BizKard free?
There is a free plan for creating and sharing a digital business card. Paid plans add AI scanning, enrichment, automation and CRM sync, and credit packs can be added on top of any plan.
Are my contact details exposed to search engines?
No. Public card pages are excluded from search engines and blocked from AI scrapers, so your card is reachable by the people you share the link with rather than indexed on the open web.
Can I export my contacts?
Yes. Leads export as vCard files, individually or in bulk, and as CSV. Card data can also be exported and imported as JSON, so nothing is locked in.
How is BizKard better for the environment than paper cards?
A paper card is reprinted every time a title, number or company changes, and boxes are ordered for single conferences. A BizKard is one link that updates itself, and the paper cards you are handed are digitised on the spot instead of travelling home in a stack.
